vf=0 ...since it stops finally

v0=28 m/sec

t=1.6 sec

a=(0-28)/1.6

a=-17.5 m/s^2

so B is the answer,since magnitude is asked you neglect the negative.

notice that D is in m/sec(velocity unit)
