Answer:

The number of international migrants globally reached an estimated 272 million in 2019, an increase of 51 million since 2010. Currently, international migrants comprise 3.5 per cent of the global population, compared to 2.8 per cent in the year 2000, according to new estimates released by the United Nations today.

The International Migrant Stock 2019, a dataset released by the Population Division of the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) today, provides the latest estimates of the number of international migrants by age, sex and origin for all countries and areas of the world. The estimates are based on official national statistics on the foreign-born or the foreign population obtained from population censuses, population registers or nationally representative surveys.

In 2019, regionally, Europe hosts the largest number of international migrants (82 million), followed by Northern America (59 million) and Northern Africa and Western Asia (49 million).

Hurricanes develop most often in the late summer when ocean waters have reached what temperature?
kkurt [141]

Hurricanes develop most often in the late summer when ocean waters have reached temperatures of 27°C (80°F) or higher.

Hurricanes are huge storms and they have spinning winds moving at 74 miles per hour. The terrible force of the whirling wind blows across the tropical waters' warm surface. This force blasts ashore, wrecking havoc and even taking lives.

A tropical cyclone may be called a hurricane, tropical storm, cyclonic storm, tropical depression, or simply a cyclone, depending on its location and intensity. The powerful tropical cyclone which occurs in Atlantic Ocean or north-eastern Pacific Ocean is called a hurricane.

Answer:

The Deccan plateau is a topographically variegated region located south of the Gangetic plains -the portion lying between the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal- and includes a substantial area to the north of the Satpura Range, which has popularly been regarded as the divide between northern India and the Deccan. The plateau is bounded on the east and west by the Ghats, while its northern extremity is the Vindhya Range. The Deccan's average elevation is about 2,000 feet (600 m), sloping generally eastward; its principal rivers, the Godavari, Krishna, and Kaveri, flow from the Western Ghats eastward to the Bay of Bengal. Tiruvannamalai in Tamil Nadu is often regarded as the Southern gateway of Deccan plateau.
