Taya2010 [7]

Answer:

For this case we have information from a sample of n =20 times of temperatures of the oven

The parameter of interest is \mu population temperature mean of the oven

And the statistic is calculated with this formula:

\bar X = \frac{\sum_{i=1}^n X_i}{n}

With n = 20 and represent the mean temperature of the oven

The correct option for this case is:

mu = the true mean temperature of the oven xbar = the true mean temperature of the oven

Step-by-step explanation:

Previous concepts

Parameter represent a property of a population and is calculated with the information of all the populatio. Some examples are the population mean and deviation \mu,\sigma

Statistic represent a propoerty of a sample and are used used in order to describe the population parameters, since represent estimators of the real parameters.

Solution to the problem

For this case we have information from a sample of n =20 times of temperatures of the oven

The parameter of interest is \mu population temperature mean of the oven

And the statistic is calculated with this formula:

\bar X = \frac{\sum_{i=1}^n X_i}{n}

With n = 20 and represent the mean temperature of the oven

The correct option for this case is:

mu = the true mean temperature of the oven xbar = the true mean temperature of the oven

What is the measure of ∠4? Enter your answer in the box.
Keith_Richards [23]
I believe the measurement for that angle is 59.

The term for this is called a supplementary angle if I recall correctly. The lines look straight so that’s probably what is applied.

If you set up that as a straight angle, you’ll get the equation
180*=x*+60*+61*
Simplify
180*=x*+121*
Subtraction property
180*-121*=x*+121*-121*
Simplify
X=59

That’s how I’ve interpreted this question, sorry if i got it wrong.
