The mood from this story is based on the feelings that the author is trying to make the reader feel, or the atmosphere the author is trying to create to stir the reader's feelings. Setting, theme, tone, and voice affect the mood of the story which basically is frustration. The setting is based on collision of modern and traditional values of the late 20th century in India where a father and a police focus on keeping things moving but a trucker stops all traffic waiting for justice.
