There are many reasons that can contribute to become a refugee like war condition, poor political conditions, violations of rights etc

Explanation:

Refugees are the one who are forced to leave their places and moved forcefully to other places. Some of them are internally displaced and remaining are the forced to cross the boarder line and enter another territory. Some of the highlighted reasons due to which a person can become a refugee are discussed below:

War condition: war is the major reason and cause because at war condition and situation people cannot survive over there so they have to migrate in order to save their lives.  

Violation of rights: gender inequalities, discrimination among the rights can be another cause. Many individuals or families migrated to other place as live over there as refugees to feel free and enjoy their human basic rights.

Hunger: Almost million of people seek asylum for their political and religious freedom but at the same time many people become refugees only to have food. This situation is mostly occurred in war times.

Asylum: another reason is persecution that means freedom related to religion practices or political rights. In 2016, 46% of refugees came to US in order to gain religion freedom.
