There is a long story of the holocaust survivors getting a permanent state, today known as Palestine in the middle East. It started with resentment of holocaust survivors to return to eastern Europe. The number of refugees was large and allied power were facing problems of immigration. In 1947 a special session was held by United Nations general assembly and it was decided to divide Palestine into two states, one Arab and other Jewish.
