Hey there,
SITE A:
Original = $1,250
Discounted = $1,250 x (20% x 1,250)
                   = $1,000
SITE B:
Original Price = $1000 + $20
                       = $1,020
Site A is cheaper.
$1,020 - $1,000 = $ 20
(20 / 1,020) x 100% = 1.96%

Hope this helps :))

Hey You!

SITE A SOLUTION:

1,250*20% = 250

1,250 - 250 = 1,000.

SITE B SOLUTION:

1,020

So, site A is cheaper.

The percentage change between the two prices would be 1.96%.

That's Your Answer! :)

The value of a boat, in dollars, x years after its purchase is represented by the function.
Furkat [3]

Given the function f(x) = 10000(0.73)^x

<span>Where y is The value of a boat, in dollars, </span> <span>x years after its purchase </span>
at x = 1
f(1) = 10000(0.73)^1
f(1) = $7300
at x = 2
f(2) = 10000(0.73)^2
f(2) = $ 5329
so the decrease
D = $7300 - $ 5329
D = $ 1971

John collected 150 nickels and dimes. He has 30 more nickels than dimes. How many of each does he have
Whitepunk [10]

Answer:

n = d+30 since he has 30 more nickels than dimes, to make them equal you have to add 30 to the dimes.

:

n+d = 150 substitute for n:

d+30+d = 150

2d = 120

d = 60 he has 60 dimes and 150-60 = 90 nickels
