Why might critics of the first new deal have favored second new deal
Hoochie [10]

People like Southern Democrats, Conservative Republicans, and corporate leaders didn't like the New Deal because it opposed the idea of a laissez-faire philosophy to govt. Southern Conservatives didn't favor the deal because they feared that the Jim Crow Laws of their region were threatened and corporate leaders and Republican Conservatives did not want the govt. to become anti-laissez-faire. Many Conservatives thought that the deal would go on to introduce acts like the Social Security Act that would allow people to become lazy as in some cases people use the govt. However, for the Second New Deal, FDR campaigned himself as an "ordinary working-class American" which republicans (critics) favored. FDR has stated that he though direct payments to the poor were "a narcotic, a subtle destroyer of the human spirit." -- Republicans agreed with that, too.

Which best explains how the change by Palestinians from violence to negotiation affected their case for independence?
mr Goodwill [35]

Answer:

A) It made the case stronger by showing that Palestinians were willing to live peacefully alongside Israelis.

Explanation:

The Israeli-Palestinian clash is one of the world's longest-running and most controversial conflicts. At its heart, it is a contention between two self-determination movements— the Jewish Zionist task and the Palestinian national project— that make a case for a similar region. In any case, it is thus, a great deal more confounded than that, with apparently every reality and chronicled detail little and extensive contested by the opposite sides and their defenders.

Does abraham lincoln deserve to be thought of as the great emancipator essay
MakcuM [25]
Abraham Lincoln was the acting President of the United States when the Emancipation Proclaimation was asserted. Given the various parties (Republican, Democrat) sometimes conflicting political objectives current at the time as well as Lincoln's personal perspectives in regards to assist any slaves to acclimate to a new climate of freedom (Abolisitionists strived to put the inspiration into action), some doubt his worth as being historically deserving of the same's powerful message. While many question Lincoln's true intent, he certainly was the face put to the Emancipation Proclaimation and is thought of as being the originator of the same. He does deserve the merit of one of history's great essays.
