Answer: Air pollution.

Air pollution occurs when harmful substances are introduced into the atmosphere. These substances majorly exist in two forms i.e solid ( particulate matter in air) and gaseous form.

CFCs (Chlorofluorocarbons) are compound consisting of Chlorine, fluorine, and carbon atoms. They are released in the atmosphere through aerosol sprays, air conditioners, refrigerators etc. Due to longer lifespan in the stratosphere, they can cause damage to the ozone layer thereby reducing earth's protection from harmful UV radiation. Also, they have warming effects which may cause global warming.

Smog is primarily named for the mixture of smoke and fog in the air. It is a blackish fog formed in the atmosphere mainly due to the reaction of various gases with dust and water vapors. it causes breathing difficulty and other harmful consequences.

What is this an example of? A child with no freckles has a mother who has freckles and is heterozygous and a father who has no f
Artemon [7]

Answer:

C. homozygous recessive

Explanation:

Freckles are a dominant characteristic, that is, they are expressed by people who have dominant and heterozygous homozygous alleles.

In the case of the child shown in the question above, the mother has freckles and is heterozygous, which means that she has recessive and dominant alleles (Aa) for this characteristic, while the father does not have freckles which means that he only has homozygous alleles. and recessive (aa) for this characteristic. If the child was born without freckles it means that she received a recessive allele from the mother and a recessive allele from the father (a + a), in this case, the child is homozygous recessive (aa).

if the cell cycle is controlled by enzymes, what might result if the genes that control the production of these enzymes are dama
Marta_Voda [28]
Enzymes are designed to fast-track cellular activities. If part of the cell that controls the production of enzymes are damaged, it would be hard for it to undergo cellular division. If cellular division is slow and takes a lot of time, it would also take a lot of time for tissues to heal and to build organs and organ systems within an organism.
