After the end of world war, the focus now shifted from war goods to consumer goods and automobile was a major industry. It has affected the culture of the United States in many ways as the number of car users increased and better communication developed, it became easy to migrate. It made people more mobile and new highways allowed people from the North and East to move West and South.
