So, if they are losing 475 Dollars each day for three days, the equation that can we can use to represent this problem will be "475*3", or 475 multiplied by 3.
5 times 3 is 15.
7 times 3 is 21, then we times that by 10 to get 210.
Finally 4 times 3 is 12, which we multiply by 100 to get 1200.
We then add 15, 210, and 1200. This leaves us with 1425.
So the movie theater lost $1425 over three days.

The algebraic form of a sequence is 4n+1. write the sequence
diamong [38]

Answer:

5, 9, 13, 17, 21, .....

Step-by-step explanation:

To generate the sequence, substitute n = 1, 2, 3, 4, ..... into the rule

a₁ = 4(1) + 1 = 4 + 1 = 5

a₂ = 4(2) + 1 = 8 + 1 = 9

a₃ = 4(3) + 1 = 12 + 1 = 13

a₄ = 4(4) + 1 = 16 + 1 = 17

a₅ = 4(5) + 1 = 20 + 1 = 21

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

cylinder's height=3×(diameter of sphere)=3×6=18 cm

radius of cylinder=3 cm

volume of cylinder=π r²h=π(3)²×18=162 π cm³

volume of sphere=4/3 π(3)³=36 π cm³

reqd. empty space=162 π-3×36π=54 πcm³

If a gardner plants beans in 1/8 of a plot and tomatoes in 1/6 of a plot, what fraction of the garden is left for other crops
JulsSmile [24]

You simply have to sum the two fraction together to get the total amount of occupied plot. To do so, multiply both numerator and denominator of each fration by the same number, so that they end up having the same denominator.

You can multiply both numerator and denominator of 1/8 by 3 to get 3/24. Similarly, you can multiply both numerator and denominator of 1/6 by 4 to get 4/24.

Now we can easily sum the two fractions together:

\dfrac{1}{8}+\dfrac{1}{6}=\dfrac{3}{24}+\dfrac{4}{24} = \dfrac{7}{24}

So, if 7 parts out of 24 are occupied, it means that there are 24-7=17 parts left for other crops. So, the answer is 17/24.
