how did people like Mary Paul put pressure on their employers to pay them higher wages and to improve their working conditions
Galina-37 [17]
Working women in the 19th century challenged the notion that women should stay within the home and remain subservient to their husbands and fathers, but the dangerous and exhausting conditions, long hours, and low wages they endured in factories hindered their independence. It is clear to see from Mary Paul’s letters why women at Lowell organized turn-outs and petitions in the 1830s and 40s to get better treatment from their managers

How does giving land to poor Romans show that Julius Cesar is a benevolent leader
ella [17]

Answer:

Julius Caesar can be considered both a good and bad leader. Caesar's ability to rise through the ranks quickly and to command armies at such a young age are good examples of his natural leadership abilities. ... While dictator, Caesar continued to improve Rome by overhauling its tax system and improving the calendar.

Explanation:

Caesar proposed legislation for reform of government, opposing Optimate sentiment, and a redistribution of land to the poor, both long-held Populare goals. His initiatives were supported by Crassus' wealth and Pompey's soldiers, thus solidly aligning The First Triumvirate with the Populare faction.
