When multiplying fractions you just multiply straight across so 1/4 x 1/8 will get you 1/32 at it's simplest form.

1/4 times 1/8 is very simple. All you have to do is multiply across.
1*1=2
--------
4*8=32

So your answer is 1/32 or in decimal form 0.0312
