What geographic features are found in Central Asia and resulted in the development of nomadic pastoralism?
11Alexandr11 [23.1K]

Answer:

D I think

Explanation:

Nomadic pastoralism is a form of pastoralism when livestock are herded in order to find fresh pastures on which to graze. Strictly speaking, true nomads follow an irregular pattern of movement, in contrast with transhumance where seasonal pastures are fixed.[1]However this distinction is often not observed and the term nomad used for both—in historical cases the regularity of movements is often unknown in any case. The herded livestock include cattle, yaks, sheep, goats, reindeer, horses, donkeys or camels, or mixtures of species. Nomadic pastoralism is commonly practised in regions with little arable land, typically in the developing world, especially in the steppe lands north of the agricultural zone of Eurasia.[2] Of the estimated 30–40 million nomadic pastoralists worldwide, most are found in central Asia and the Sahel region of West Africa. Increasing numbers of stock may lead to overgrazing of the area and desertification if lands are not allowed to fully recover between one grazing period and the next. Increased enclosure and fencing of land has reduced the amount of land available for this practice.

Drawing Conclusions According to Hobbes, what do people mistakenly assume when
Pachacha [2.7K]

Explanation:

Everything Hobbes described is woven into the fabric of our thinking even if you’ve never read him. He believed in self-preservation at all costs and he put this belief into practice when he proudly declared himself as “one of the first to flee” at the outbreak of the Civil War. Afterwards, he was quick to return when the French government was unable to offer the same protection as the commonwealth. He thought allowances should be made for a natural timorousness.

Hobbes is important because he believed the origin of rights was found in our fear of a violent death and this is the origin of law and the state. Hobbes denied the moral value of all virtues that do not proceed from this fear. Our desire for peace is the fundamental law of nature.

From the way I understand it, Hobbes thought the good life was not found in striving for human excellence, but in commodious living. This seems to be the foundation of modern life and we may need to challenge this belief or perhaps offer an alternative. It’s hard to do this without taking Hobbes seriously.
