First you have to get the X by itself so take the 16 on the left side and add it to the other side (its negative its when you put it on the other side of the equal sign its positive) So -32 + 16 equals -16. Now we are still trying to get x by itself so you have x/4 on the left side and -16 on the other side. multiply 4 to x/4 and multiply 4 by -16 (because what you do on one side you have to do it to the other side as well) the 4 on the left side cancels out so you just have x left and on the right side you have 4 times -16 which equals -64. so x equals -64. How you know you have your answer right put -64 where the x is and do the equation and you will com up with -32

A sign language club made $627.50 from selling popcorn at a festival. The popcorn cost the club $95.00. Which expression represe
Charra [1.4K]

Answer:

(627.50-95)/m

Step-by-step explanation:

The total value of money earned was $627.50. Then subtract the amount of money the popcorn cost, $95.00. This subtraction would make the difference of $532. This equation would be in parentheses because you have to get the difference before you can divide the profits among the club members. After you put that into parentheses, divide the difference by M. This will give you the equation (627.50-95.00)/m hope this helps!

What are the relative frequencies, to the nearest hundredth, of the rows of the two-way table?
sveta [45]

Answer:       A                 B

Group 1     0.25          0.75

Group 2    0.44          0.56

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

Number of people of A in group 1 = 15

Number of people of B in group 1 = 45

Total number of people in group 1 is given by

15+45=60

Relative frequency of people of A in Group 1 is given by

\frac{15}{60}=0.25

Relative frequency of people of B in Group 1 is given by

\frac{45}{60}=0.75

Similarly, Number of people of A in group 2 = 20

Number of people of B in group 2 = 25

Total number of people in group 2 is given by

20+25=45

Relative frequency of people of A in Group 2 is given by

\frac{20}{45}=0.44

Relative frequency of people of B in Group 2 is given by

\frac{25}{45}=0.56

Hence,        A                 B

Group 1     0.25          0.75

Group 2    0.44          0.56

Find the solutions to 9x^2-54x=0
astra-53 [7]

Answer:

x₁ = 0

x₂ = 6

Step-by-step explanation:

9x² - 54x = 0

9x(x - 6) = 0

x(x - 6) = 0

x = 0

x - 6 = 0 → x = 6

Hope this helps! :)
