Answer:

a motion for summary judgement.

Explanation:

According to my research on different legal proceedings , I can say that based on the information provided within the question this is a motion for summary judgement. This term refers to a request for the court to rule that the other party has no case, because there are no facts at issue. Which applies to this situation because Turista Airlines is not presenting any facts, yet they are arguing the case based on those non-existent facts.

I hope this answered your question. If you have any more questions feel free to ask away at Brainly.

In your own words.

Why is it important to the business to motivate employees?..
Alexeev081 [22]

This is mainly opinionated, and since I'm young I may be wrong.

I say it's good to motivate them because then they will do a better job at their task and will make you seem like a good boss/person, especially if it's a decent pay that will keep them being able to live. With the motivation, they might even remember more things (Such as: If you work at a gas station, you remember to upsell people when a deal is going on, whereas unmotivated people forget or just don't want to do it and be lazy). It's the same effect of giving a kid a piece of candy for being good, doing chores, or getting a harder question right.

The required volume of output to produce the motors will not require any incremental fixed overhead. Incremental variable overhe
Ludmilka [50]

Answer: Income will increase by $16 per unit

Explanation:

Your question isn't complete but the completed question was gotten online and would be used in answering the question accordingly.

The effect on income if Derby decides to make the motors will be calculated thus:

In-house:

Direct material = 38

Direct labor = 50

Overhead (Incremental) = 21

Total variable cost = 109

Outside:

Cost of supply = 125

Therefore, the income per unit will increase by (125 - 109) = 16.

mojhsa [17]

Answer:

b. cash, investments, and receivables, inventories, prepayments

Explanation:

Financial assets refer to liquid assets which derive their value from ownership rights and claims. For example, bonds, mutual funds, etc are financial assets.

In the given case, cash, investments, receivables, inventories, prepayments (prepaid expense) etc are liquid assets and current assets which can be readily converted to cash. Investments could be both short term and long term.

Investments in treasury bonds are highly liquid.

Capital assets are usually those assets with maturity period of more than one year and unlike current assets are not intended for sale.

On May 3, 2020, Concord Company consigned 80 freezers, costing $540 each, to Remmers Company. The cost of shipping the freezers
NeX [460]

Answer:

a) $22,010

b) $3,780

c) $25,790

Explanation:

a) In calculating the value of inventory still left, the total value needs to be calculated first,

= (80 freezers * $540) + $820 ( transport fees)

= 43,200 + 820

= $44,020

40 out of 80 freezers have not been sold so,

= 40/80 * 44,020

= $22,010

b) In calculating the profit, subtract the expenses from the sales

Sales = 40 * 700

= $28,000

= 28,000 - Cost of refrigerators - commission of 6% of sales - advertising - installation

= 28,000 - 22,010 - (28,000*0.06) - 180 - 350

= $3,780

c) The amount remitted by the consignor will be,

= Sales - commission - advertising - installation

= 28,000 - (28,000 * 0.06) - 180 - 350

= $25,790
