x=\cos^3t\implies x^{2/3}=(\cos^3t)^{2/3}=\cos^2t

SImilarly,

y=\sin^3t\implies y^{2/3}=\sin^2t

So recalling that \cos^2t+\sin^2t=1, you end up with the rectangular form

x^{2/3}+y^{2/3}=1

Find the mean of the integers: 7,-9,9,-7,0
Aleks04 [339]

Step-by-step explanation:

Add all of the numbers together

7 + 9 + 0 + (-9) + (-7)

simplify it down to:

(7+9+0)= 16

-9 + (-7)= - 16

So, -16 + 16 = 0

then divide 0 by 5 to get the answer of 0

To find the mean you have to add all of the numbers together and then divide by the amount of numbers that you have.

Mrs. Davis bought 6 pounds of grapes for $18. At this rate, how much would 72 ounces of grapes have cost?
Sergio [31]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

1 pound = 16 ounce

6 pound = 6 * 16 = 96 ounces

Cost of 96 ounces of grapes = $18

Cost of 1 ounce of grape = 18/96

Cost of 72 ounces of grape = 18*72 / 96 = 27/2

                                              = $13.50

Or

Direct Proportion because is weight increase, the cost will increase

96:18 = 72 : x

Product of means = Product of extremes

18*72 = x*96

18*72/96 = x

x =$13.50

Suppose that a1, a2, a3, . . . is an arithmetic sequence, in which a3 = 19 and a14 = 96. Find a1.
katovenus [111]
Uhhh I think you have to add 19 and 14 which shall give you the answer to a1 so it should be 33 but then I think you divide 33 and 96 or you will multiply 33 and 96
