Nowadays teenagers share their entire lives on social media. This can cause a feeling of being excluded and left out. Teenagers also can be bullied online and harassed by others, but those people who are harming them won't usually be caught because now everything is behind a screen. There are also very high rates of depression and anxiety among teenagers nowadays as well, with many growing up post 9/11 and used to a world of chaos and terrorism.
