It was mostly the "sphere of influence" ideology that describes the spread of communism in the years immediately following World War II, since the Soviets wanted to be supported by as many communist puppet governments as possible.
The Economic Cycle.
An economy when graphed will essentially look like a wave. It may not be perfect, as there will be different size expansions and contractions/recessions.
Expansions is when the market is doing well or correcting from a recession. The Peak is the highest point that specific economic period can achieve. From there, the market will enter a Recession or Contraction where it goes down. It’s Trough is the lowest point that the contraction will reach.
One problem that native americans faced was losing their land to the white men. Another is the disappearance of their food and recources one main one was the Buffalo. i hope this helps

I think it's Virgina because Virginia was the home of the first surviving English colony. (Jamestown). The colony was also attacked and almost ruined.
