Answer:

Lithosphere: the name lithosphere comes from the greek words lithos ,meaning rocky and spheaerous ,meaning sphere.

The lithosphere is the moving part of the surface of earth planet.it it consist of the continental crust ,oceanic crust and the uper part of the mentle ,called asthenosphere .It is bounded by atmosphere from above and asthenosphere below.

charcteristics:

The uppermost part is crispy, and it is present where brittle deformation happens, like faults, and damage from earthquakes. The lower part is warmer ,things get hotter going towards the interior of the planet, and this is where ductile deformation happens, like folding of rocks. The movement is steered by convection in the mantle, which helps push some tectonic plates together, while separating others.

The lithosphere is very important because we humans live here, and we have to interact with it for survival . Movement of the lithosphere is essential because it provides us land to live on. Without tectonic uplift, erosion would have long since wiped out all dry land, and we would not be here.

What factor determines the rate of exchange of oxygen between the alveolus and blood capillaries
Tju [1.3M]

Answer:

The rate of gaseous exchange in alveoli and blood depends on the difference in pressure of gases in both the alveoli and blood capillaries.

Explanation:

The air in alveoli has high pressure of oxygen and low pressure of carbon-dioxide.

The air in blood vessels has high pressure of carbon-dioxide and low pressure of oxygen

Due to the diffusion, the oxygen from alveoli moves towards to blood capillaries and carbon-dioxide diffuses from blood to alveoli.
