almonds make up $\frac{1}{3}$

cashews make up $\frac{1}{2}$

Batch 1:

1 cup in pistachios( (which is 1/6) which means there are 5 other cups )and 2 cups in almonds so that leaves $\frac{3}{6} or \frac{1}{2}$ left so the answer is 3 cashews

Answer=3 cups of cashews

1 cup of cashews which makes up $\frac{1}{2}$or $\frac{3}{6}$ of the batch and there are $\frac{2}{3}$ of a cup of almonds so that leaves only $\frac{1}{3} or \frac{2}{6}$ as the only option left

Answer= $\frac{2}{6}$ of pistachios

Batch 3:

$\frac{4}{6}$ is the amount of pistachios and it makes up $\frac{1}{6}$ of the batch which means that there are six $\frac{4}{6}$ but cashews always make up $\frac{1}{2}$ so you get $\frac{12}{6}$ which is equivalent to two so that leaves two $\frac{4}{6}$ which you add and that makes $\frac{8}{6}$ which is equivalent to $1 \frac{2}{6}$ or $1 \frac{1}{3}$
