Answer:

1. The scenario changes from the author's home to the family's home in history. Then the scenario changes again when the family begins to install very sensitive alarms and sharp fences in their homes. The scenario changes once again, when employees start to get laid off and take to the streets of the suburban neighborhood.

2. These changes show how exaggerated fear and discrimination lead to social injustices and deaths.

Explanation:

"Once upon a time" is a short story that shows the moment when a writer, frightened by a noise she heard at home at night, decides to write about a close and very loving family who lives in a suburban neighborhood and fears for safety of your kids. The family heard reports about the violence and abuses caused by "people of color" and decided to protect their families against these people by setting alarms on houses and installing very sharp fences.

Fear begins to spread in the community in a profound way, causing people to fire their employees, thinking that they can commit crimes against the family. The dismissed employees start to take to the streets, begging and asking for help.

The crimes continue to happen and people continue to install their sharp fences, it is when the son of the family who started this movement, falls into one of those fences that punches him and leads him to death.

In this story, the author shows how fear indicated leads to social problems, prejudices and irremediable situations.

Compare Ernest Thayer's "Casey at the bat" to a typical prose story. What differences and similarities do you notice in the deve
iragen [17]

Answer:

Ernest Lawrence Thayer wrote the poem "Casey at the Bat: A Ballad of the Republic Sung 1h 1888." The narrative takes place at the conclusion of an inning in a baseball game.

The poem resembles a prose tale in its clarity and dramatic aspect. The poem captures the anticipation, excitement, and drama of professional sports, as well as the reaction of the spectators who, for a little period in that stadium, abandon their daily routines and jobs in order to see their hero fulfill their goals.

Baseball is a game that truly defines America and its people, as seen in the poem, which is written in a straightforward manner with four-line verses and a rhythmical structure that makes it seem like a ballad.
