So, in this you are finding 105% of $19. 100% is $19 as it is the full, original amount. To find 5%, I prefer to divide the original by 10 (therefore getting $1. 90) and half that. This equals $0. 95. Finally, add this on to the 100% to get 105%. The answer would be $19. 95
