Bedrock structure is primarily responsible for landscape differences.
Bedrock lies beneath the surface materials such as soil,
gravel, sand and other sediments. It is a deposit of hard, consolidated,
tightly-bound solid rock. It is the parent material for unconsolidated material
and soil above thus influencing landscapes.
The type of economy that the forces of supply and demand typically drive prices is a market economy.
East of the Rocky Mountains is the so called Midwest region in North America. This vast region is mostly consisted of lowlands covered with grasses, and they are bordered with mountain ranges on both the east and the west, which prevents the maritime influence.
Because of this natural barriers, this region has mostly continental air masses influencing its climate. In the colder period of the year they are continental polar air masses, forming over Canada and moving southwards. In the warmer period of the year they are continental tropical, forming in the southern part of this region and moving northwards.
This type of air masses bring in very hot and dry summers, and very cold and snowy winters.
When Women's rights increase so too usually does their formal education, which allows them to have more high paying jobs and they can then tell their husbands, no I cannot have a kid right now because I have to work and support this family and the husband cannot say no because if she gets pregnant they lose income, party of which is why Japan has such a low birth rate, because they have a very high women working rate.
