What were the new ideologies in the Renaissance that possibly weakened the primacy of religion and of the Catholic Church?

History

The Renaissance placed the individual in the center of life and showed the world as a world that could exist without reference to the divine. This weakened the beliefs of the Catholic Church that until that moment placed God and the Church in the center of the life of every individual.

The Renaissance is called this way because it brought back the ideas of Roman and Greek civilizations trying to solve the problems of that time.

The Renaissance brought back to people the idea of educationalists and scholars that existed in Roman and Greek civilizations and were lost during medieval times. With that, more people started to read the classical texts and the bible and with that they started to questions the Catholic Faith, claiming that the Catholics did not follow the bible completely.

The Renaissance eventually, led to the Reformation and the creation of the Protestant Churches.
