Ideas for a proposal about the intolerable acts
aev [14]

Intolerable acts such as Boston tea party act, Administering justice act, Massachusetts act and Quartering acts were passed by the British crown which repressed the American colonies who were not given enough representation in the parliament.

Explanation:

English East India company was ailing financially and hence to gain stability, it started to persuade the colonists to buy tea which was high in price. The colonists could not afford to pay such a heavy price and hence they bought the local dutch tea leaves. British also started to inflict some small and secret taxes. The local merchants in the american colonies got annoyed as Britain is trying to give a tough competition forcing the people to buy the British tea leaves. All colonies refused to accept the East India Tea and Boston gave a tough defiance. Boston patriots came in the guise of the Native American Indians and toppled more than three hundred chests of tea leaves into the sea and the Boston ports were closed for trade.

Following this, administering justice act which gave authority to the British officers to imprison and give death penalty to the colonists who seemed to not obey the crown and pay taxes. Massachusetts act gave Britain full authority over Massachusetts Government which was considered to be bitter by the Natives who lived there. Finally, quartering act insisted the colonists to give free accommodation, lodging and food to the British soldiers in their residence which was considered to be atrocious. Annoyed colonists, plunged into protests desiring secession from homeland.

Which of the following is a factor that distinguishes social sciences, such as psychology and sociology, from ethics?
Ganezh [65]

The correct answer is Unlike ethics, these disciplines inquire why people act the way they do.

In the beginning, there was only sociology and psychology. Part of psychology became interested in social and group processes, and so social psychology emerged. That's why the names are related. Social psychology was born from the integration of psychology with sociology.

Sociology, on the other hand, was also interested in the individual processes that psychology was studying. The interaction between people and their environment has become the subject of sociologists' reflection, moving away from other macrosociological approaches. Therefore, we can say that there was a great influence on each other and vice versa.

Elaina complained to her best friend that she lost the spelling bee because the judges were unfair and gave her all of the harde
Iteru [2.4K]

Answer:

external cause

Explanation:

Elaina is showing a common phenomenon in social psychology:

the attribution to external causes, which means that she assigns the cause of a happening to situations that are external to her, and rather than assessing her performance in terms of her inner characteristics.

She could have also expressed how her feelings and state of mind at that time played a part, but instead, she is making external attributions, like "judges being unfair by giving her all harder words".

The attribution theory in social psychology see how people try to point out to more causes that are in the surroundings or external, and often this influences their motivations and behaviour.

If people make inferences why others behave in a certain way and they refer to the outside then, we speak of external causes.

Social perception and self-perception can have internal, external causes and often we are advised to seek motivations in any of these ways.
