31 is 25x3+8x3=51 because you multiply each of the numbers for it to equal 51

Please make your entries easy to read by using proper separators and by omitting problem numbers:

31) 25-8•3=51 32)9+4•5-3=17 should be presented as:

9+4•5-3=17 That's one equation per line.

Now, ask yourself how we could use grouping symbols (parentheses) to make the equations true.

If done (evaluated) exactly as shown, following order of operations rules,

25-8•3=51 is false. We get 25 - 24 = 51 (false). But look what happens if we enclose 25-8 in parentheses:

(25-8)*3 = 51. This is 17*3 = 51 (true).

Now let's move on to the other equation: 9+4•5-3=17. If evaluated exactly as shown, we get 9 + 20 - 3, or 26, which does not equal 17.

What if we were to enclose 9+4 in parentheses: (9+4)*5 - 3 = ?

13*5 - 3 = 62, and is is therefore is not correct.

Let's try (9+4)*(5-3). That'd be 13*2, or 26, not 17.

Please, before we move on, check to ensure that you have copied down "9+4•5-3=17" correctly. Be sure to leave out the Problem Number (32).

Dahasolnce [82]

Answer:

A_{f}=4\pi (\sqrt[3]{36} r)^{2}\\\\V_{f}=\frac{4}{3} \pi (36r^{3})

Step-by-step explanation:

In order to find the final radii of the sphere, we need to calculate the volume, knowing that volumes are additive:

V_{1}=\frac{4}{3} \pi (r^{3})\\\\V_{2}=\frac{4}{3} \pi (2r)^{3}\\\\V_{3}=\frac{4}{3} \pi (3r)^{3}\\\\V_{f}=\frac{4}{3} \pi (r^{3}+(2r)^{3}+(3r)^{3})\\\\V_{f}=\frac{4}{3} \pi (r^{3}+8r^{3}+27r^{3})\\\\V_{f}=\frac{4}{3} \pi (36r^{3})\\\\V_{f}=\frac{4}{3} \pi R^{3}\\\\R=\sqrt[3]{36} r

Now that we know the radii of the new sphere, we can calculate the surface area:

A_{f}=4\pi R^{2}\\\\A_{f}=4\pi (\sqrt[3]{36} r)^{2}
