D. To protest U.S. support of Israel
Israel was created after WWll as a homeland for displaced Jews. European officials literally told Palestine that they no longer owned that land anymore because it was set aside for the Jews. Almost all of the Middle Eastern countries did not recognize Israel as a true nation because: 1. The majority of those countries practiced Islam and 2. They supported Palestine. The United States on the other hand supported Israel and with the U.S. giving an increasing amount of aid to the country in the 1970's, OPEC, or the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, cut of trade to the U.S. and put an embargo on oil which significantly raised the price of gas in America and added top the economic downturn that was already occurring.

What was the climate, environment, and geography like in the colonies regions
CaHeK987 [17]

Answer:

I am assuming you are talking about Americas first 13 colonies:

Colonists in the New England colonies endured bitterly cold winters (because the colonies were mostly up north) and mild summers.

Although the land was flat close to the coastline, it was still mountainous farther inland.

The soil was generally rocky, making farming difficult, they would have to trade with other colonies to get corn and wheat. Cold winters reduced the spread of disease, though many people still died due to the cold.
