Mutations are random and rare changes in the DNA sequence that can both add or delete genes. (therefore, all of the answers listed above apply)

In genetics, the term mutation represents any change in the DNA sequence of an organism. Mutations can be limited to a change in just a single nucleotide ( Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms) or it can include deletions, insertions or translocation of a longer DNA sequence, sometimes even whole genes. Mutations are rare and random events, but there are some places in the genome that are more prone to genetic mutations, called ''hot spots''.

Rasek [7]

Answer:

incomplete dominance

Explanation:

This is because incomplete dorminance is a type of inheritance pattern in which a dorminant allele does not completely masked the effect of recessive allele. The recessive allele is expressed little and the dorminant. Example is the nose size. The allele for big nose and recessive allele for small nose are not completely dorminant.

Rainbow [258]

Answer:

Whether matter exists as a solid, liquid or gas is determined by the arrangement of its particles and the strength of attraction between the particles. The three states can be easily distinguished because of their physical properties.

A physical property is a characteristic of matter which can be observed without any chemical change to the matter (shape, volume, colour, smell etc.). A chemical change is one in which new substance are formed.

Explanation:

Solids have a fixed volume and shape. They also vibrate in a fixed position. Ice

Liquids have do not have a fixed shape but a definite volume. They take the shape of their container. They are able to move past each other by allowing the liquid to flow. Water

Gases do not have a fixed shape or volume. Particles take up the space of the container they are in. Particles move freely and rapidly. Water vapour
