Hello.

Goal: Identify the italicized word

Sentence: (May) I go to the library?

Kind of sentence: interrogative.

Italicized word: May.

May is a modal verb: a type of verb that is used to indicate modality – that is: likelihood, ability, permission, request, capacity, suggestions, order and obligation, and advice etc. In this case, due to the kind of sentence, may acts like and auxiliary verb.

An auxiliary verb is a verb used in forming the tenses, moods, and voices of other verbs. May, in this case, indicates modality and permission.

Hope it helps you.

The italics aren't showing up here, but assuming that it is the word "May" that is in question, the answer would be "interrogative". This is generally true whenever a question is used.

CAN SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE????

Okay so I can't help all of the way but basically it's just asking what rhetoric was used I think.

So rhetoric is Pathos, Ethos, and Logos

So pathos is using emotions in your literature, to maybe guilt you or make you feel something

Ethos is ethics, so basically the writer is trying to gain your trust by making you feel like they know exactly what they are writing about

Logos is using statistics, quotations or evidence to support them.

Hope this helps! Maybe attach the full page and I can help more

disscuss three ways in which one's acceptance of responsibility can influence effective communication.(2014 sup).
umka21 [38]
Being responsible is owing up to the possible consequences of your decision whether it was right or wrong. Communication is a two way process wherein there is a messenger (one who talks) and receiver (one who listens). One of the ways that a person could be responsible is by saying ‘I’ in all the things he would say, instead of ‘we’. Example, ‘We don’t like the way you act awhile ago.’ Change it to ‘I don’t like the way you act awhile ago’. Here, you are establishing ownership on the things you want to say to the person.
