Paul Robeson was an American bass baritone concert artist and stage and film actor. He became famous for his cultural accomplishments and also his political activism.  He taught at Rutgers college and Columbia University, he also was a star athlete in his youth.

Some songs he sang are Ol' Man River, Joe Hill, and Joshua Fit De'Battle of Jericho.
