Answer:well, the question is not complete, but according to my findings, the activity is all about forensic science; the use of polygraph test. The activity can be found in chapter 10, Pressbook.bccampus.ca

Explanation:

Forensic science is the use of science for Investigations in criminal laws, and sometimes in civil laws. One of the things that can be use is the polygraph, which is also known as the lie detector. The polygraph or lie detector main goal is to detect lie by measuring the blood pressure, skin conductivity and Respiration during the test exercise.

There are ways to pass the polygraph test, even if someone is not telling the truth. Nonetheless, the polygraph test is has proved itself efficient in many cases. According to many experts, the polygraph is not 100 percent efficient but, there are possibilities of it being 90 percent efficient.

===> CONCLUSION: Many experts failed to identify a guilty suspect 20-25 Percent (mostly 24 Percent) of the time.

In the distribution of scarce resources, caste systems rely on_____statuses and class systems rely on _____statuses.
Nat2105 [25]

Answer:

In the distribution of scarce resources, caste systems rely on ascribed statuses and class systems rely on achieved statuses. (letter D)

Explanation:

Class systems present a social hierarchy that results from a person's achievements, that is, through their effort. For instance, you can be born poor but end up wealthy by gaining knowledge that will lead you to better job opportunities. Therefore, this type of system has social mobility. It also allows for interactions between classes.

On the other hand, a caste systems is more rigid. Its statuses depend on what you already possess at birth, on what is ascribed to you. That is, your gender, race, wealth, etc. are all determined by your family, by what you are born with. This type of system does not allow for much mobility.

For all the power the Enabling Act gave Hitler, he still felt threatened by some in the Nazi Party. He was also worried that the regular army had not given an oath of allegiance. Hitler knew that the army hierarchy held him in disdain as he was ‘only ‘ a corporal in their eyes. The Night of the Long Knives not only removed the SA leaders but also got Hitler the army’s oath that he so needed

What is bandwidth? what is the bandwidth in a traditional north american telephone circuit?
oee [108]

The difference between the highest and lowest frequencies in a band or collection of frequencies is known as the bandwidth. The bandwidth in a standard North American telephone circuit is 64 Kbps. The amplitude or height of the wave is altered by amplitude modulation.

What do you mean by Telephone Circuits?

The standard line found in telephone circuits is this one. The frequency response of such a line resembles that of a low-pass RC filter. The telephone line loss and consequently the low-pass filter action increase in frequency as a result of the wires' increasing resistance, which causes an increase in I2R wire losses. 14 The frequency response of a 1 km-long, twisted line is reduced by 9 dB at 1 MHz and keeps going down for higher frequencies, Let's suppose that a straightforward, 1 km-long transmission system is required. A pair of 1 km long twisted copper wires may transmit data with a loss of less than 9 dB.
