What is -4m= 1.75 what is m and what would it be if it was 4m= 1.75 instead of negative? Please explain work

If it has the negative so the answer will be negative but if it doesn't have the negative so the answer is positive because if you want to find the m you should divide the both sides of the equation by the factor of m: 
-4m = 1.75 ⇒ -4m/-4 = 1.75/-4 ⇒ m = 1.75/-4 ⇒ m = -0.4375 

4m = 1.75 ⇒ 4m/4 = 1.75/4 ⇒ m = 1.75/4 ⇒ m = 0.4375 :)))
