Jages and Supply and Demand
s2008m [1.1K]

Answer:

1. How do we decide how much each person in society should be paid?

The highest paying jobs in society typically have a combination of two factors: 1) they are highly specialized, that is to say, difficult to perform, 2) they have a high demand.

Two examples are: medical specialists, and CEOs.

Why do some jobs receive high wages while others do not? Do wages

reflect what types of jobs our society values?

Jobs that receive higher wages, again, are either more difficult to do, or have a higher demand, or are more scarce.

This does reflect in part what types of jobs our society values, however, not all high paying jobs are well valued, and some low paying jobs enjoy prestige.

2. Using what you know about supply and demand and labor, explain

how changes in supply and demand couple impact employment and jobs

In the current economic crisis, we have seen a reduction in the demand for jobs, because most firms are either selling less, or have simply gone out of business.

This has led to higher unemployment, since many people have been fired and cannot find new places where to be hired.

What effect did the revolutionary war have on native americans?
NeTakaya
The American Revolution didn't affect directly the Native Americans. It affected them because when the colonists won, it was official they had lost vast territories and would have to share land extensions with colonists. The Proclamation of 1763 wasn't so forceful after the war, because the colonists were independent from the King and he couldn't give them orders anymore. The Proclamation of 1763 kept colonists east of the Appalachian Mountains, just so you remember. France owed a large piece of land that was west of the Appalachian, and the colonists eventually bought it. Further on, they also took hold of the area around California and Florida. So as you see, the Natives were being taken away from lands and this led them to live in reservations. Nowadays, natives can live anywhere they want but many choose to live in reservations.

Andrej [43]

Answer:Chinggis Khan

From the 6th to the 13th century it grew into a city more populous than it is today, changing hands every couple of centuries – Western Turks, Arabs, Persian Samanids, Karakhanids, Seljuq Turks, Mongolian Karakitay and Khorezmshah have all ruled here – before being obliterated by Chinggis Khan in 1220.
