Simplifying method:
20575/h + 568

h = 78 so:

20575/78 + 568

78 \frac{64}{78} + 568

646 \frac{64}{78} = 646 \frac{32}{39}

That's it!

Find the circumference using the diameter of 10m
valentina_108 [34]

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

d = 10 \: m \implies \: r \:  = 5 \: m \\ circumference \:  \: \\  c = 2 \pi \: r \\  = 2 \times 3.14 \times 5 \\  = 10 \times 3.14 \\  = 31.4 \: m \\   \orange{ \boxed{\therefore \: circumference \:  = 31.4 \: m}}

Find the difference between two years.

1951 - 1591 =360

Step 2:

Divide the result by 2

dividing 360 by 2 , we get 180

Step 3:

Add 180 to the year 1591

1591 +180 = 1771

What is an equation of a line perpendicular to 5x+8y=16 and passed through (-5,7)
Snezhnost [94]

Answer:

8x - 5y = -75 or y = 1⅗x + 15

Step-by-step explanation:

5x + 8y = 16

-5x - 5x

_____________

8y = -5x + 16

___ ________

8 8

y = -⅝x + 2

↑

slope

Now, Perpendicular Lines have OPPOSITE MULTIPLICATIVE INVERSE <em>Rate</em><em> </em><em>of</em><em> </em><em>Changes</em><em> </em>[<em>Slopes</em>]:

-⅝ → 1⅗ [or 8⁄5]

7 = 1⅗[-5] + b

-8

15 = b

y = 1⅗x + 15 >> Perpendicular Line in <em>Slope-Intercept Form</em>

If wanted in <em>Standard</em><em> </em><em>Form</em>:

y = 1⅗x + 15

-1⅗x - 1⅗x

_____________

-1⅗x + y = 15 [We do not want fractions in our Standard Equation, so multiply by the denominator to get rid of it.]

-5[-1⅗x + y = 15]

8x - 5y = -75 >> Perpendicular Line in <em>Standard Form</em>
