If you could answer this then your a genius,
Vladimir [108]
I'm guessing it is probably because she drinks it so fast that she doesn't give it a chance to poison her body. He drinks so slowly so he gives it a chance to go throughout his body and kill him. That's my best guess, because I am no genius.

Is this sentence a simple, compound or complex? Tania let her borrow the ipad, but she asked her to be careful.
seropon [69]

Tania let her borrow the ipad, but she asked her to be careful is a compound sentences because of the use of 'but'. Whenever you use but, and or so in a sentence, you are writing or stating a compound sentence since you are joining with such conjunction two independent clauses.

Ben growled when I walked into his room. He barked at me to close the door as he lumbered back to his desk. He is such a bear in
wariber [46]
I believe the answer is B, an extended metaphor.
It can't be A because similes are comparing two unlike things using the words "like" or "as", which will also eliminate D.
It can't be C because a personification is where an inanimate object is given human-like qualities.

Throughout the entire passage, the author compares Ben to a bear and uses words such as "growled", "barked", "lumbered" which shows how the comparison between the two is prolonging throughout the passage.
