Read the excerpt from Gelissen’s Rena's Promise: Two Sisters in Auschwitz. “I have a favor to ask of you, Andrzej . . . This is

very difficult for me, but I must ask. It is no longer safe in Tylicz for Rena. Her mother and I are worried for her safety every day.” Look at this image from Art Spiegelman’s Maus. mc026-1.jpg What idea is related in both excerpts? the sense of relief people experienced when they found a way to escape during the Holocaust the sense of uncertainty people experienced while trying to escape the Nazis during the Holocaust the sense of fear parents experienced as they were separated from their children during the Holocaust the sense of confusion small children and elderly people experienced during the Holocaust

The author of the memoir was living in Tylicz, small village in Poland. She writes about the Holocaust horror and her survival in the story. The relevant answer according to the excerpt is the second one - the sense of uncertainty people experienced while trying to escape the Nazis during the Holocaust. Not only for this story, but for all Jews during the times of terror the situation was uncertain. They were trying to survive in many different forms in order to escape this horror although the escape was impossible many times. Other answers don't mention this relevance except the second one.
