Number one would be Overnight. Number two would be Last. Number three would be either Before or The Holidays but I am 99.9% sure it is "Before". Number four would be Unlocked. Number five would be Due. A modifier is a word that without the word the sentence would have a different meaning, from my experience :)

Answer:

Explanation:

A novel is a piece of long narrative in literary prose. Narrative prose is meant to entertain and tell a story. It is a description of a chain of events which includes a cast of characters, a setting, and an ending. Most publishers prefer novels that are in the 80,000- to 120,000-word range, depending on the genre.

What are the meanings of below given sentences
Bezzdna [24]

Answer:

1. I have my car fixed.

- This is not the correct way to write this. It would make sense if it was "I am going to have my car fixed." However, the word "have" is present tense. That means you are currently having your car being fixed.

2. I had my car fixed.

- This is the correct way to write this. The word "had" is past tense. That means you already fixed your car.

Explanation:

Remember that "have" is a helping verb, and "had" is the past participle. "Have" is a present form while "had" is the past form.

Which two pairs of lines in this excerpt from Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet show that Lord Capulet thinks Juliet is too young t
IrinaVladis [17]
The line that best states that Juliet is too young to get married is Capulet's first line. "But say o'er what I had said before: My child is yet a stranger in the world; She hath not seen the change of fourteen years, Let two more summers wither in their pride, Ere we may think her ripe to be a bride."

Capulet is saying that Juliet is not familiar with what goes on in the world and that within her lifetime, she hasn't seen the change around her. He's saying that he wants her to spend two more summers at most, because he thinks she's too young to marry.

Hope this helps!
  Signed, Liz
