How can i read faster

Well first you have to clear your mind. Maybe playing soft music with no words would help. The only way I know of doing anything faster is by practicing... Probably not the answer you wanted, but you cant simply read faster by watching tv. Actually putting the closed captions works too, makes you keep up with everything, but like I said, it takes practice
