If I got to Hawaii or like some random vacation, I'm only doing it for myself. Not for my soul, my physical health, my mental health or my spiritual health.
It just looks like a waste of time compared to pilgrimage. Of course, vacations are fun and all. But if you put pilgrimage and vacation on a scale, pilgrimage should way more in your priorities.
