The correct answer is A.D. 700.

Feudalism is a social, economic, and political system that consists in a contractual relation of vassalage between a powerful lord, a landowner, and a vassal, a free man of inferior position in the society. According to this contract, the vassals offered different kinds of services to the feudal lord according to their position (military support, peasantry) in exchange for protection and a piece of land to work. Feudalism emerged as a mix between the Roman law and the Germanic law, to bring order to the chaos generated after the barbarian invasions.

While the first forms of feudalism took shape right after the fall of the Roman empire at the beginning of the 6th century, it was during the 8th century that it prevailed as a decentralization system, since the Carolingian dynasty couldn't afford the bureaucratic infrastructure of its expanding empire.

What are pros and cons of American participation in international organizations?
Zigmanuir [339]

Answer:

Explanation:

International organizations are usually established in order to encourage the cooperation of nations. This ensures the maintenance of peace and commerce. There are many pros and cons of US participation in such organizations.

One of the most important pros is the fact that participation encourages friendly relations among nations. This can lead to better trade deals or military alliances. Participation also makes it more likely for a country to maintain a positive reputation both at home and abroad. Finally, it can also provide more legitimacy to the government.

One of the cons of US participation is the fact that membership often comes with rules, and these rules can reduce the power of the President to act in a particular way in the international arena. Moreover, monetary contributions are sometimes required, as well as changes in legislation.

Hope this helped!!!
