3. The Mayflower Compact was the first American plan for government. How has it influenced our modern government?
vlabodo [156]
Hello there! The Mayflower Compact influenced our modern government by setting the foundation of self government with rules to abide by. Pilgrims precedented this by traveling on the Mayflower to settle on an unknown land with Puritans. They could not decide whether to abide by Puritan rules and standards or make their own rules. That’s where the Mayflower Compact came in; an agreement was came to that resulted in the forming of the first ever self government. Hope this helps!

What did the inca do after conquering a new area
Harlamova29_29 [7]

Answer:

They would teach the leaders of newly conquered territories the quechua language.

If they revolted against the Incan authority, they were executed and the trustworthy would be sent to govern the new areas.

Explanation:

After taking over new territories, the Incas would offer gifts to the conquered leaders. Accepting the gifts would mean that they accept the Incan authority.

These leaders would then travel to Cuzco where they would be taught the quechua language and adopt the Incan culture. After this process they would return back to rule according to the Incan tradition.

The leaders that opposed to the authority of the Incas would be executed and the Inca nobility would be sent to establish order in the area.
