I would say c. I would find it hard for a planet to be a rectangle, considering that all of the 9 planets in our solar system (including Pluto the dwarf planet) are all round in shape.

Answer: C] Current images show that the object is rectangular in shape, and its mass is about one-fourth that of Earth’s.

Explanation:

For an object to qualify as planet, it must be round in shape and revolve about a star in a fixed orbit. The planet may or may not have moons. But, it should be biggest in its neighborhood.

From the observations made by the astronomer, The object is rectangular in shape. This disqualifies it from being a planet

Which of the following statements regarding the moon and Earth is correct?
Sladkaya [172]

Answer:

A

Explanation:

It is believed that the moon was formed shortly (relative time) after the earth was newly formed. This occurred in a massive planet-sized collision that  ejected a huge chunk of the earth out into space. The chunk, still within earth gravitational reach, began orbiting the earth becoming the moon. Both earth and moon are slightly more than 4 billion years old.

What is the effect of type 2 diabetes (T2D) on pentose phosphate pathway (PPP) flux?
Serjik [45]

Answer:

Option A is correct

Explanation:

Insulin is responsible for regulating the glucose metabolism through PPP. Insulin increases the G6PD-derived NADPH which regulates several oxido-reductase enzymes. In normal condition, several hormones and nutritional inputs affect the PPP. PPP activity is driven by demand NADPH.

HMG-CoA reductase activity is reduced by G6PD deficiency. G6PD overexpression causes impaired insulin signaling and also increases the level of FFA and TG . Due to impaired insulin signals, the PPP flux increases

Hence, option A is correct
