I would say c. I would find it hard for a planet to be a rectangle, considering that all of the 9 planets in our solar system (including Pluto the dwarf planet) are all round in shape.

Answer: C] Current images show that the object is rectangular in shape, and its mass is about one-fourth that of Earth’s.

Explanation:

For an object to qualify as planet, it must be round in shape and revolve about a star in a fixed orbit. The planet may or may not have moons. But, it should be biggest in its neighborhood.

From the observations made by the astronomer, The object is rectangular in shape. This disqualifies it from being a planet

Explain your results using the concept of cohesion.
Nikolay [14]

Answer:

Cohesion is when the molecules that are attracted are the same type of molecules. In other words, cohesion is the force of attraction that holds these substances together.

Explanation:

The water drop is composed of water molecules that like to stick together, an example of the property of cohesion.

The water drop is stuck to the end of the pine needles, which is an example of the property of adhesion.

What is the difference between active and passive transport across the plasma membrane? what is the difference between active an
hichkok12 [17]
The correct answer is "active transport is ATP dependent whereas in passive transport molecules use kinetic energy to move across the membrane." in  active transport cells use molecules embedded on the cell membrane called carriers in the presence of energy. cells use energy and carriers because molecules must move against concentrated gradient inside the cell. on the hand, passive transport is a process by which molecules move from the region of high concentration to the region of low concentration across plasma membrane until balance is obtained on both sides of the membrane. once equilibrium has been achieved in passive transport the movement of molecules stops.

Anastaziya [24]
The sympathetic nervous system.

This is a part of the nervous that operates involuntarily (you can’t control it) and functions to “turn you on” as part of the fight or flight response.

The parasympathetic is the other big involuntary part that mostly does the opposite functions.
