The correct answer here is "More than".

According to Bibb Latane and his Social Impact Theory that he developed in 1981 the impact will increase more if the group size increases from two to three member. This may sound strange but according to his theory the more members the group, that is targets of impact as he called them the less impact  individual targets have. So that means that in larger groups the impact of a new member is weaker than in smaller groups.

How does the scope of a theory influence its usefulness and application to the social world?
il63 [147K]
A theory is defined to be a scientific principle that is not yet proven to be true. Thus, a theory is a systematized hypothesis. When it is proven to true, the theory becomes a law.

The scope of the theory includes the explanation of natural phenomena using scientific basis. The postulates written in the theory serve as benchmark information in attempt to find the root cause of a social problem. For example, Sigmund Freud's Theory of Three Personalities explain human behavior as it grows from an infant to adult. It encompasses the topic of moral principles, conscience and coordination of cognitive thoughts. This theory is used to help psychiatrists in diagnosing their patients, as well as the possible medications for them.
