Let s = Car B's speed

Car B is 15 mph faster than A, therefore

(s - 15) = Car A's speed

Write a distance equation; dist = speed * time

2(s-15) = 1.5s

2s - 30 = 1.5s

2s - 1.5s = 30

.5s = 30

s = 60 mph is car B's speed

Confirm this find the distances, they should be equal

2 (60-15) = 90

1.5 (60) = 90

Answer:

sec~y=\frac{q}{r}

Step-by-step explanation:

tan ~y=\frac{7}{r} \\\\\frac{sin~y}{cos~y} =\frac{7}{r} \\\\sin~y=\frac{7}{r} cos~y\\sin ~y=\frac{7}{q} \\\frac{7}{q} =\frac{7}{r} cos~y\\sec~y=\frac{7}{r}  \times \frac{q}{7} =\frac{q}{r}

a book store bought 160 copies of a book from the publisher for $4,000. If the store gives away 2 books, how much money will it
Dovator [93]
4000 divide by 160 to get the cost of each book
4000 / 160 = 25
So that's £25 per book, multiply that by two because they gave two away which is £50 so they lost £50

Points B and C lie on a circle with center O and radius r = 5 units. If the length of BCown is 10.91 units, what is m∠BOC in rad
blondinia [14]
In this situation triangle BOC is inscribed in the circle. Length of BC is 10,91, length of BO is 5 (radius) and length of CO is 5 (radius).
we need to know theorem of sines:
\frac{a}{sin \alpha } =2r
\frac{10,91}{sin \alpha } =2*5\\sin \alpha =1,091

How to find the volume of the cone?
ehidna [41]
Volume of cone canbe calculated using the following rule:
volume of cone = (1/3) x pi x (radius)^2 x height

from the givens:
pi = 22/7
I'll assume that the 10 cm refers to the height
radius = 16/2 = 8 cm

substitute in the equation to get the volume as follows:
volume=(1/3) x (22/7) x (8x10^-2)^2 x (10x10^-2)
= 6.7 x 10^-4 m^3
