A proportional relationship meaning that all the sets are proportional.

A) 2/6 = 0.33
     5/8 = 0.625

So, A is a wrong answer.

C) 8/4 = 2
    24/4 = 6

4/12 = 2/6
6/18 = 2/6

Therefore, we have a proportional relationship!

Answer:-  C.

<span><span>A proportional relationship between two quantities is one in which the two quantities vary directly with one and other. If one item is doubled, the other, related item is also doubled.

So the answer would be C

But lets see the proof:
The first x and y ratio is 2:6 which equals 1:3
The second one is 4:12 which equals 1:3
The third one is 6: 18 which equals 1:3
The fourth one is 8: 24 which equals 1:3

Which means all 4 of the ratios are the same. So therefore the answer is C

The following six independent length measurements were made (in feet) for a line: 736.352, 736.363, 736.375, 736.324, 736.358, a
horrorfan [7]

Answer:

Assuming population data

\sigma = \sqrt{0.000354}=0.0188

Assuming sample data

s = \sqrt{0.000425}=0.0206

Step-by-step explanation:

For this case we have the following data given:

736.352, 736.363, 736.375, 736.324, 736.358, and 736.383.

The first step in order to calculate the standard deviation is calculate the mean.

Assuming population data

\mu = \frac{\sum_{i=1}^6 X_i}{6}

The value for the mean would be:

\mu = \frac{736.352+736.363+736.375+736.324+736.358+736.383}{6}=736.359

And the population variance would be given by:

\sigma^2 = \frac{\sum_{i=1}^6 (x_i-\bar x)}{6}

And we got \sigma^2 =0.000354

And the deviation would be just the square root of the variance:

\sigma = \sqrt{0.000354}=0.0188

Assuming sample data

\bar X = \frac{\sum_{i=1}^6 X_i}{6}

The value for the mean would be:

\bar X = \frac{736.352+736.363+736.375+736.324+736.358+736.383}{6}=736.359

And the population variance would be given by:

s^2 = \frac{\sum_{i=1}^6 (x_i-\bar x)}{6-1}

And we got s^2 =0.000425

And the deviation would be just the square root of the variance:

s = \sqrt{0.000425}=0.0206

The measure of an angle is 60° less than nineteen times the measure of its supplement. what is the measure of the angle?
DerKrebs [107]
Two angles are supplementary when they <span>add up to 180 degrees.

x = angle
19x-60 = </span><span>supplement angle

x + 19x - 60 = 180
20x = 180 + 60
20x = 240
x = 240/20
