For number one I would say B because :
The length of the red triangle Is :
3
The Height of the red triangle Is:
2
You need to put this in a ratio, but still in the correct order.
For number two, Id Say C Because:
They Both Run on the same line.
The rules with slopes are that no matter how big or small the triangle is, if it is runing on the same line, the slopes are equivalent.

The point $(p,9)$ lies on line $k$ shown here. What is the value of $p$?
blagie [28]

Answer:

(10,9) P=10

Step-by-step explanation:

find the slope first: y2-y1/x2-x1=(3-1)/1-(-2)=2/3

y=2/3x+b

find b:

3=2/3(1)+b

b=3-2/3

b=7/3

now we find P

(p,9) input the y in the equation

y=2/3 x+7/3

9=2/3x+7/3

9-7/3=2/3x

x=10

A random sample of 25 statistics examinations was selected. The average score in the sample was 76 with a variance of 144. Assum
ki77a [65]

Answer:

The confidence interval is from 69.82 o 82.18

Step-by-step explanation:

Using this formula X ± Z (s/√n)

Where

X = 76 --------------------------Mean

S = Standard Deviation

If Variance = 144

S = √144

S = 12

n = 25 ----------------------------------Number of observation

Z = 2.576 ------------------------------The chosen Z-value from the confidence table below

Confidence Interval || Z

80%. || 1.282

85% || 1.440

90%. || 1.645

95%. || 1.960

99%. || 2.576

99.5%. || 2.807

99.9%. || 3.291

Substituting these values in the formula

Confidence Interval (CI) = 76 ± 2.576 (12/√25)

CI = 76 ± 2.576(12/5)

CI = 76 ± 2.576(2.4)

CI = 76 ± 6.1824

CI = 76 + 6.1824 ~ 76 - 6.1824

CI = 82.1824 ~ 69.8176

CI = 82.18 ~ 69.82

In other words the confidence interval is from 69.8176 to 82.1824
