But anyway the affect of surprise was that the natives Americans enemy wouldn't have time to prepare so the losses/casualties for the enemy would be heavy,also using the element of surprise would also most likely scare enemy soldiers, and they would be distracted and confused as well.
During the Great Depression in America, unemployment grew at a remarkable rate. At one point during this era, roughly 25% of Americans were unemployed.
When this many people are unemployed, there are several other problems tha arise. If people are unemployed, they don't have the ability to pay their bills (rent, mortgage, heat, etc.). Along with this, people who are unemployed do not have the means to buy food. This is where the breadlines come in.
These breadlines represent how Americans relied on assistance for organizations/government in order to survive during this era. This helped to ensure that Americans who were unemployed still had the means to live. However, this addresses only one small part of unemployment.
The Pahlavi and the Ayatollah Khomeini regimes were diametrically opposed. The Pahlavi dynasty ruled Iran from 1925 to 1979. The Pahlavi's were closely associated with the West and ruled in an autocratic matter. This was especially true during the Cold War. Thoroughly western in orientation, women enjoyed significant freedoms in terms of their mobility in public life. The Shah's repression of dissidents led to dissatisfaction among students and the religious right. The last Shah of Iran was forced to resign and leave the country. The Khomeni government represented the ascendancy of the religious rights. Iran became a theocracy and women were increasingly relegated to the margins. They were forced to adhere to religious doctrine, and wear the hijab (Islamic head covering)
Using the United States and Japan as an example, one prominent similarity would be that both countries practice the economic system of capitalism, while a major difference would be that the United States is a heavy exporter while Japan in a heavy importer.
