Amalgamation is the process through which feudal societies were developed.

Explanation:

Powerful monarchs gained huge power by occupying the provinces of the feudal lords. They controlled the territories and nations as well as the empires.

As a result the power of the monarchs and the parliament increased and the power decreased in case of barons.

Thus the creation of the national government took place in England, Spain, France and United Kingdom. Later in the German states. Through the ability to remove the politicians lot of leverage was enjoyed in many nations.

A word root is the base part of a word (i.e., less any prefixes and suffixes).

To change the meaning of a word, a prefix can be added to the front of the word root, or a suffix can be added to the back. Quite often, a prefix and a suffix are added to a word root to change the meaning. (Prefixes and suffixes are known as affixes.)
