Universal truths in “A worn Path by Eudora Welty  are:
love
honor
pity
pride
compassion
sacrifice

Phoenix Jackson (the grandmother) has a lot of love to her grandson. She has a lot of devotion to the extent that she is willing to walk all the way through town for him frequently-- so much, that made the path worn. Considering that she is old enough, it is a sacrifice for her. Compassion is there. She’s old enough to cause a risk to her old body. She does this more often for her grandson but he seemed not in need of medicine.

If you have read the story then, you can tell that she is a woman who has to be honored and has a big heart.

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
Semmy [17]

Answer:

Austen presents the idea that love must be above the desire for money and must be based on companionship and mutual care.

Explanation:

Austen presents Elizabeth as someone who has a vision of love based on something beneficial, happy and comfortable, without taking into account the economic conditions of the people involved in a romantic relationship. This is because Elizabeth is described as an intelligent woman, who does not devalue herself in the social environment and seeks a partner who values her, encourages her, has a high regard and respect for her, in addition to being someone with whom she can establish a partnership and mutual care. For her, this is more important than the economic condition that this partner can present.

"Pride and Prejudice" is a book written by Jane Austen that shows the birth of the relationship between Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy through breaking prejudices and stereotypes that they have among themselves.

Which element best supports the cartoonist's perspective? the friendly sign on the side of the power plant the happy expression
Rzqust [24]

Answer:

the clouds of pollution in the air above the plant

Explanation:

Ann Cleaves's cartoon presents a picture of the pollution that has been produced because of human activities. The pollution from the chimney of the factories all around the world has led to an immense increase in the global temperature. In the cartoon, one of the people is saying 'Now, we're really cooking!' This exemplifies the increase in temperature because of which every person would be boiling. This is an exaggeration but shows the real picture of what human activities had led to.
